The purpose of this ministry is to under gird and strengthen the growth of the body of Christ at this local assembly and to promote unity of the faith by extending a net of love and support to new disciples. For the Hebrews, the goal of education was to prepare man to know God and leave peacefully among men (Luke 2:52). The mission of the College Ministry is to provide a place where college students' faith is both nurtured and developed and to provide a variety of spiritual and recreational activities for them while serving as a "home away from home".
The Couples Ministry strives, to encourage God's purpose of oneness in marriage. This is achieved as both husband and wife yield to God and work together in building their home from the same set of blueprints "The Bible." God's plan is for marriages to be a lifelong covenant relationship between a man and a woman. The ministry stands on Matthew 19:6 NIV "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." Just as each person has a unique fingerprint, so does each marriage. The mission of the Deacons’ Wives Ministry is to provide support to the Deacons’ Ministry. To willingly follow the leadership and spiritual guidance of the Visionary of the House. To be available to the Body of Christ when called upon. To be godly examples to the women of Elevation by living a Christ-centered life and to remain in prayer for the uplifting of God’s Kingdom, our Pastor, our First Lady, our Leaders and the fulfillment of the Vision of this House.
Graduate Recognition Ministry
The mission of the Graduate Recognition Ministry is to recognize and encourage scholastic achievement of Elevation Baptist Church disciples.
To address health-related issues/concerns from a spiritual and holistic perspective. The ministry hosts several programs and activities throughout the year that address the “whole being.” We believe that one cannot FULLY serve God without being whole spiritually, physically, financially, emotionally, and mentally. The ministry strives to integrate its planning with other ministries within the church body, in order to meet the spiritual, physical, mental, and financial needs of Elevation's members and the surrounding community. The mission of the EBC Helps Ministry is to provide spiritual support, intercessory prayer and encouragement to the Senior Pastor and the First Lady and to assist them on any spiritual or administrative endeavors for the enhancement of the Kingdom of God, as they spread God’s word. The mission of the Music and Fine Arts ministry at Elevation Baptist Church is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through the ministry of music, dance, mime, and drama. We strive to give God the best of our service by offering him our time, talents, and substance. We offer God our committed service which transcends the walls of Elevation Baptist Church, in an effort to win souls to Christ. We offer God our total praise. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? The mission of the Security Ministry is to assist with protecting the facilities, property, assets, and people of Elevation Baptist Church. The Church Leaders have a responsibility to help provide a safe and secure environment for members and visitors to Worship, meet and serve. The Singles’ Ministry shall be a body of believers and disciples of Jesus Christ, spreading the gospel while growing in our relationship with God through spiritual, educational, and social activities. The Women’s Ministry is responsible for meeting the needs of the total woman, which include spiritual, physical, and mental needs. Our mission is to empower women to become women of excellence through evangelism, monthly Bible study sessions, retreats, and fellowship.
The mission for the Youth Ministry is to build Christ driven youth for the church of today. Teaching them to honor God by encouraging them to develop a personal relationship with Christ, and preparing them to share the Gospel of Jesus through love and service to the community.
