Mission Statement of the Ministry
The mission of Ray of Hope is to give support to those who
have been battered and bruised by the circumstances of life,
and to heal the broken hearted with love and the love of
God. Purpose of the Ministry Enable families to recover following
economic hardship or family crisis and to heal the broken
spirit through love and the love of God.
Brief History
The Ray of Hope Ministry began in 1995 to respond to the
growing need for emergency assistance for families in economic
crisis. The ministry helps such agencies as the Helping Hand
Mission, Salvation Army, Ark Shelter and the Men's Center
of Raleigh and Wake County. Ray of Hope also provides to
others by serving meals on the first, third and fourth Sundays
of each month after the 10:45 am service.
