Salvation
What is Salvation?
Salvation is God's gift of grace to a sinful world. God loves us and His purpose
for creating mankind is for us to have everlasting fellowship with him. God
gave us his son Jesus Christ and through his son's redemptive work the door
to salvation is open to all that believe in their heart and confess that Jesus
Christ the Son of God lived and died for our sins and through the crucifixion,
was resurrected and now lives.
How did I become a sinner?
Romans 3:23 and Psalms 51 says for all have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God and that we were born in sin and
iniquity.
Romans 6:23 for the wages of sin is death, but the gift
of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
What is the solution?
Romans 5:8 informs us that while we were yet in our sins that Christ died for
us. His life was sacrificed that we might walk with God.
Romans 5:6 the mind of a sinful man is death, but the mind
controlled by the Spirit is life and peace.
What do I do now?
Romans 10:8&9 says the word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your
heart, that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with
your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised
him from the dead, you will be saved.
